Akanksha Saha is conducting research on the Prandtl–Batchelor theorem for fluid flows, with a focus on shear instability and vorticity in relation to flux expulsion.
Ms. Saha is pursuing a bachelor's degree in physics and mathematics at UC San Diego, with particular interests in partial differential equations and bifurcations.
As president of Undergraduate Women in Physics, a student-led organization at UC San Diego, Ms. Saha is deeply involved in efforts to support young women in the physical sciences on campus. Her leadership activities focus on enhancing student and faculty engagement in addition to overall outreach within the San Diego community.
